Tri-County Community Action Agency leads efforts to support families in Henry, Oldham, and Trimble counties. We focus on building skills and resources that foster economic independence and stronger communities.

Our commitment is to provide coordinated services that help individuals overcome challenges and achieve lasting self-sufficiency. We partner with local residents and organizations to create meaningful opportunities for growth.

Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program


Community Action Kentucky in partnership with the Department of Community Based Services, administers the LIHEAP program in Kentucky through a network of 23 community action agencies with offices located in all 120 counties in Kentucky. This important Federal program helps provide heating assistance to over 100,000 families in Kentucky each year. It operates in two components: the Subsidy component and the Crisis component.

We are determined to make a difference in the lives of individuals and families!


Through a collaboration with local service providers and non-profit organizations, the Hope Community Center is a centralized site where individuals can access services such as employment/career assistance, substance abuse treatment and recovery support, Veteran's resources, Medicare/Medicaid assistance and a variety of utility and financial assistance programs. Tri-County Community Action Agency is a private non-profit corporation that has been serving the Henry, Oldham, and Trimble counties in Kentucky since 1974. We offer a variety of programs to enhance the quality of life of our participants. Many of our programs are offered at little or no charge to you.

Tri-County Community Action exists to provide leadership and advocacy; to develop community-based coordinated services and activities designed to enable low-income/disadvantaged persons to gain the necessary skills, education, and motivation to become self-sufficient.
