Seniors At Home

Changing HOW Seniors Live Not WHERE They Live!
Tri-County Community Action Agency has been providing services to elderly clients for more than 30 years. Programs are designed to improve the quality of life and help the elderly maintain an independent lifestyle for as long as possible. By providing supportive services and coordinating the help of family, friends, and provider agencies, we support the ability of seniors to remain in their own home.
Friendly Visiting
This service seeks to improve the health and well-being of lonely and isolated seniors in our community by providing meaningful social connection through regular home visits by compassionate volunteers.

Home Care
We have a dedicated team of trained and efficient caregivers that provide services in home to meet the needs of the individual. Home Care also known as Attendant Care may include help with bathing and dressing, getting around in the house or outside, eating and self-care, laundry and house cleaning.

Telephone Reassurance
Daily check in phone calls are made to frail or isolated seniors by friendly volunteers. Often the same volunteer calls a particular senior so that they can develop a relationship. The call makes sure our client is OK and reassures that help will reach them quickly if needed.
